We discussed the implication of maritime corruption, and how MACN has been successful through collective action. We also appreciated IMO’s efforts to recognize this challenge with the adoption of the guide to tackling maritime corruption at FAL46 earlier this year. This meeting was an important step for continue dialogue at the IMO on this topic and we develop a joint strategy the next couple of months.
